Future of Young Africans (FOYA) is a pan-African initiative founded in 2016 to recognize and empower young leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators who are making an impact across the continent.
FOYA is more than an awards ceremony—it's a movement. Since our inception, we've aimed to create a platform that celebrates excellence, innovation, and leadership among Africa's youth. Our mission is to highlight individuals who are building solutions, creating jobs, and shaping the future of the continent.
We envision an Africa where young people are equipped, recognized, and supported in their mission to lead change. Through our awards, mentorship programs, and strategic partnerships, we work to amplify youth voices in entrepreneurship, technology, education, and civic leadership.
Since 2016, FOYA has recognized over 400 young achievers from across 20+ African countries. Many of our alumni have gone on to scale their ventures globally, win international fellowships, and continue to impact their communities.
In 2025, FOYA is launching a digital accelerator and an online resource hub for youth-led organizations. As part of this digital strategy, we are exploring gamification and platform engagement—something seen in the evolution of digital entertainment platforms like ninjaslot77, which has demonstrated how technology can transform user engagement when combined with rewards and recognition.
This is not an endorsement, but rather an observation of how such platforms apply behavioral design and gamified systems—concepts that FOYA is studying to improve youth engagement and learning experiences.
